A new chapter in my life began three months ago when I had to resign from my job and relocate to a new city due to some personal reasons. I had to live with three business partners and start a new life somewhere else. I am the only one who knows how to cook in our group so it was me who would always cook for them. My former officemates visited our house this weekend making it a small reunion. My cooking skills were put to the test and the pressure was on me. Well, not that I’m bragging but they were all amazed on how good my food was. They’ve always thought that I was just a man who knew nothing but to work in an office. After having a nice meal, we went to a nearby park and enjoyed walking around and talking about our experiences. I guess we were just too busy to realize that I missed them but now I do.
