Today was an exciting day for me. I’ve been working hard in the city for around two months straight now and I’ve been away from home for like an eternity. My mom misses really misses me and she gives a call almost every day. I surprised her today when I went home without letting her know that I’m finally spending some time with her for a few days. As expected, she gave me a warm welcome and you can see in her eyes how much she appreciates my visit. Her small cafe is starting to gain more customers and I gave her a joke to get merchant services so that her cafe can be able to accept credit cards. I wasn’t really serious about that but she told me that she will consider getting one.

The dining table was full of my favorite foods and dishes that I almost forgot that my visit was a surprise. Oh well, I can’t blame my mom for doing things like this for be. I’m guessing this is one of the effects of having a great son like me. My mom also told me a news about my sister’s plan of getting married. I’m not really sure if this is a good or bad news for the family. My sister just finished her studies last April and we were hoping that she could help us get a new home for our family. However, if that’s her decision, I guess there’s nothing we can do but support her. So much about that… I’d be staying here for three days and go back to working my ass off in the city. For now, I’d be sharing stories and experiences to people here at home.
